Cow & Gate announced today (04.12.2008) the addition of organic, fruit flavoured rice cakes to their baby food range. The range, called 'Fruit Smilers', will be available in supermarkets from Friday, December 5th.
The rice cakes will offer a healthy alternative for infants snacks and also for the difficult weaning stage. Free from salt and sugar, they are made with 100% organic pureed fruit and research has proven them easy for babies to grip.
Cow & Gate's Marketing Manager Claire Edwards: 'In an age when concerns about artificial food flavours and additives in baby food are at an all-time high, we think they'll regard this as a welcome development.'
